Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 1, 2026
Welcome to The Vibe Video. We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who We Are
The Vibe Video ("we", "us", or "our") is an online platform that lets users create, manage, and publish short-form videos for social media. Our service is accessible at thevibevideo.com and its associated subdomains.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Account information — your email address and password when you register.
- Video content — text prompts, scripts, uploaded images or audio files, voice-over preferences, and any other content you submit to generate a video.
- Social media authorisation — if you connect a Facebook Page, we receive and store the Page access token and Page ID that Facebook provides. We do not receive your Facebook password.
- Communications — messages you send to our support team.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, timestamps, and in-app actions.
- Device and browser data — browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and IP address.
- Log data — server logs that may include your IP address, request paths, and error reports.
- Interaction data — clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement on our website, recorded as heatmaps and session replays.
- Cookies and similar technologies — identifiers set by us and by our analytics and advertising partners, described in section 10.
2.3 Information from third parties
- Facebook / Meta — when you grant permissions through Facebook Login, we receive your Facebook user ID and the access tokens needed to list and post to your Pages.
- Payment processors — if you purchase a subscription, our payment provider handles your card details. We only receive a transaction confirmation and a customer identifier; we never see your full card number.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and maintain your account.
- Generate videos based on your prompts and content using our AI pipeline.
- Post videos to Facebook Pages on your behalf when you explicitly request it.
- Store your generated videos so you can access, manage, and re-download them.
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts).
- Monitor and improve the performance, security, and reliability of our platform.
- Understand how visitors use our website, measure our advertising, and show our ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who visited our site.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your video content or prompts to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.
4. Video Content and Generated Media
Videos you generate are stored on our servers and associated with your account. You retain full ownership of any original content you upload (images, audio, scripts). You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you.
Generated videos may incorporate stock footage or AI-generated imagery sourced through our licensed third-party providers. By using the platform you agree to the usage rights described in our Terms of Service for such content.
If you delete your account, your videos and associated content will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
5. Facebook Integration
If you choose to connect a Facebook Page, we store the Page access token provided by Meta in order to post videos on your behalf. Specifically:
- We store the Page ID, Page name, and Page access token in our database.
- We use this token only to publish videos to the specific Page you select.
- We never post to your personal Facebook profile or any Page you have not explicitly authorised.
- You can revoke access at any time through your Facebook settings (Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business integrations) or by disconnecting from within your account settings.
- Revoking access on Facebook immediately invalidates the stored token; we will no longer be able to post on your behalf.
Our use of data obtained through the Facebook API complies with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
6. Sharing Your Information
We share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers — cloud storage (to host your videos), AI inference providers (to generate video content), payment processors, and email delivery services. These providers are contractually bound to use your data only to perform services for us.
- Analytics and advertising partners — Google (Google Analytics), Microsoft (Clarity), and Meta (Meta Pixel) receive data about how you use our website, as described in section 10.
- Social platforms — when you choose to publish, your video and description are sent to the social platform (e.g. Facebook) using your authorised access token.
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
- Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data and generated videos for as long as your account is active. If you close your account we will delete your personal data within 30 days, unless we are required to keep it longer for legal or financial record-keeping purposes.
Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you may be kept indefinitely to improve our service.
8. Security
We protect your data using industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage for sensitive tokens, and access controls that limit who within our organisation can view personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to affect your rights or freedoms, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion — request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@thevibevideo.com. We will respond within 30 days.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We keep you signed in by storing your session token in your browser's local storage. Our website also uses the following third-party services, which set cookies and use similar technologies such as pixels:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — measures which pages you visit, how long you stay, and your device, browser, and approximate location. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- Microsoft Clarity — we partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products and services. Website usage data is captured using first- and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products and services and online activity. We also use this information for site optimization, fraud and security purposes, and advertising. When you are signed in, we link these sessions to your account ID. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — records visits to our pages so we can measure our ads and show them on Facebook and Instagram. Third parties, including Meta, may use cookies, web beacons, and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from our website and elsewhere on the internet, and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads. When you are signed in, we also send Meta your account ID and email address in hashed form (scrambled so they cannot be read) so Meta can match your visits and purchases to your Meta account.
You can opt out of the collection and use of this information for ad targeting at aboutads.info/choices or, in the EU, youronlinechoices.eu, and out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working without them.
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline these services. If you are in Europe, none of them load until you accept. You can change your choice here at any time:
11. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
12. International Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our cloud infrastructure operates. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect transfers outside the European Economic Area.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice in the app before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
